I had thought that the closest I'd be to having a Garratt at the front of my train would be to place my model on the dashboard as I drove around, seen here at a coal mine near Lithgow. Years later I had the real one at the same location, to turn it on the triangle for a tourist train. :)

Hi Mick , you are very welcome on this forum.
It is great to meet people from down under sharing the same passion for this scale. I am inclined to believe there are very few reproductions of australian rolling stock in O-scale.
By the way, is australian O-scale like the british 1/43,5 or more ...
